About Me
Hello! I’m Willow, and my journey to health and self-discovery has been nothing short of transformative. I’m excited to share my story with you and how it has led me to where I am today.
My Journey
In my 20’s I found myself over 100 pounds overweight and struggling with my overall well-being. I was trapped in a cycle of poor health, chronic anger, and disconnection from myself. More than just physical discomfort, I realized that I wasn’t the kind of wife and mother I wanted to be. I wasn’t living up to my own expectations of who I wanted to be. This realization was a turning point for me, and I knew I had to make a change.
Everything began to change when I discovered yoga. What started as a curious exploration soon became a cornerstone of my transformation. As I practiced yoga, I not only lost weight but also experienced profound improvements in my physical and mental health. The anger that had long been a part of my life began to dissipate, and I started to feel a renewed sense of peace and clarity. Through yoga, I learned to listen to my body and notice how different foods affected me. This awareness led me to make significant changes in my diet, which in turn further enhanced my overall well-being.
A Deeper Exploration
Inspired by my own experiences, I felt compelled to share my journey with others. This led me to delve deeper into holistic health and wellness. I pursued training in Ayurveda, an ancient system of natural healing. I also became a certified Yoga and meditation teacher. Integrating Ayurveda and Yoga along with mindfulness into my daily life has allowed me to refine my approach to health and deepen my understanding of the mind-body connection.
Embracing Spirituality
Alongside my focus on physical health and wellness, I felt a strong calling to explore spirituality. This journey led me to become a non-denominational minister. Embracing this role has enriched my life and allowed me to share spiritual insights and guidance with others. It’s been incredibly fulfilling to support people in their own spiritual and personal growth.
Today
Today, I’m passionate about helping others on their own paths to health, happiness, and spiritual fulfillment. Whether through yoga, Ayurveda, or spiritual counseling, my mission is to support and inspire those seeking a deeper connection with themselves and a more balanced, aligned and fulfilling life.
My journey has taught me that it’s never too late to become the person you aspire to be. I’m grateful for the opportunity to make positive changes in my life and to be a better wife, mother, and individual. Thank you for taking the time to learn about my journey.
